Security Authorities in Taiz Seized Smuggled Cows Security authorities seized smuggled shipment of cows coming from Africa. The shipment, which contained 45 cows, was seized on the coastal line that joins Taiz with Houdidah. A security source in Taiz governorate pointed out that the seized cows entered the country illegally and were not checked up by the veterinarian authorities in Al-Moka port.
Coincidence behind Arresting Thief in Sana’a Airport Police security at Sana’a airport were able to arrest a man who succeeded to steal 26 million Rials while he was working in a trade company branch in Hadramout. The arrest happened after the thief, Moammer, ran into an employee who used to work with him in the same company. His old friend had just arrived by chance from Egypt when he saw the thief and hurried to the police security to arrest him. Police security found that Moammer had a fake passport with a different name after he denied knowing his old friend. The thief had disappeared two months earlier after the company knew about his matter and his story spread throughout the company in its different branches around the country.
Executive director of Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria visits Yemen During his visit to Yemen, The executive director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Michel Kazatchkine had met with Yemeni officials in Public Health and Population Ministry to follow up the performance of the programs designed to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Yemen financed by the Fund during 2004-2013 at cost of $61 million. He also discussed with the officials several topics related to progress in fighting the disease in the country.
