Widespread of Screwworm among Animals in Mahweet According to the epidemic surveillance in the Mahweet agricultural office, a widespread of screwworm disease is spreading among animals, especially monkeys in the governorate, which has led to the death of hundreds of livestock. Sources told Yemen Post that more than 500 villages have already been provided by necessary protection services to unaffected animals. Canadian Cancer Doctors visit Yemen A visiting medical team from Canada started training Yemeni doctors working in the Cancer Center at Al-Joumhori Hospital in the Capital this week. During the 3 weeks visit, the foreign team would deleiver many lectures concerning different cancer diseases and the ways of treatment. In addition, the team will perform surgeries for Yemeni patients at Al-Sab’een, Kuwait, and Al-Thoura hospitals. |
