French Tourist Attacked in Taiz A French tourist was injured when she was attacked by three men who took her camera and managed to escape before security authorities arrested them. The tourist was immediately taken to the hospital and following that she was visited by the deputy governor of Taiz. Industrial Complex for Producing Salt Aden Free Zone and Bathwab Investment Companies agreed on establishing a project of industrial complex for producing salt at Aden Free Zone. The project will manufacture 50,000 tons yearly and costs US$ 5 million to start with. In addition, it will create 175 job opportunities and about 70 % of the production will be exported abroad to meet with the growing demand of salt derivatives from a number of European countries, Japan, Australia and the African horn. Authorities Seize 3,000,000 and 700,000 Intoxicating Pills Security Authorities presented by General Mutahar Rashad Al-Misri, Interior Minister, declared that authorities seized 3 million, 700 thousand intoxicating pills and 18 tons of drugs during the first half of this year. |
