Portuguese Moraes to Train the National Football Team Yesterday Portuguese coach Jose De Moraes arrived to Yemen to sign a contract and train the Yemeni national football team. In his visit to Yemen, Moraes held talks with Yemeni officials and the results of these meetings would be announced during a press conference after signing the contract. 30 Die and 359 Injured in Traffic Accidents last Week According to a report published by the traffic administration, 30 people were killed while 359 were injured; of which 177 are with serious injuries in accidents last week. The report shows that 286 traffic accidents occurred around the nation during the past week. Sources told Yemen Post that technical defects besides exceeding speed limits were the main cause of these accidents and approximated the damages to YR 29,645,000. Aden Receives Food Aid from UAE Earlier this week, Aden city received food aid, including food and dates, sent by the Red Crescent of United Arab Emirates. The aid was sent because of the occasion of Ramadan and to be distributed to 360 needed cases under the supervision of The Yemeni Red Crescent. Formal sources at the Yemeni Red Crescent said the aid would be distributed among charitable societies for Yemenis and Somali refugees. |
