Over 4.1 million expired Gas Cylinder Used in Yemen

The Interior Ministry's Safety and Security Committee (IMSSC) expected the number of expired gas cylinders in the Yemeni market to be more than 4 million, and requested Yemen Gas Company (YGC) to take out the expired cylinders and compensate their owners for the sake of citizens' safety. The IMSSC also agreed to stop importing gas cylinders for six months until the current ones available in the market are categorized. 

Human Losses Decreased 75% Due to Weapon Banning

According to a report published by the interior ministry, human victims were decreased after the weapon ban by 75 percent. The report shows that the number of death reduced from 569 to 151 comparing to last year. Moreover, the report showed that criminal cases declined to 1,921 compared to 3,926 cases before applying the ban. Raymah and Mahweet ranked the lowest rates of death resulting from carrying weapons.

NDC gathered  6712 mines

Yemen's National Demining Committee (NDC) carried out the first stage of damaging mines after gathering them for six months through clearing operations in several fields in Aden, Abyan, and Lahj. NDC destroyed 6712 mines and explosives, including missiles, detonators, and fuses.
