Yemen Receives 62000 Metric Tons of Diesel Earlier this week, a Filipino shipment tanker arrived to Yemen shore and unloaded 62000 metric tons of diesel in Aden port. Sources told Yemen Post that the diesel cargo will be distributed in all the governorates under the supervision of the oil companies. New Agricultural Investments in Yemen The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) declared that it would be a shareholder of 30% of the capital of a poultry project in Al-Mukala. Sources confirmed to Yemen Post that local investors would share the rest of the project’s cost which will reach $51 million. The source added that the project plans to produce 6700 tons of meat and 27 million eggs per year. Meanwhile, Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation had agreed with the AAAID to create storages of grain in Hodeidah which will cost $40 million. A Somali Military Ship Seized in Yemeni Waters A Somali armed ship has been in the custody of Yemeni coastguards in Aden Gulf for the past three days. Security sources said five people, three Somalis and two Egyptians, were on the ship. The ship was carrying some sheep and food. Security authorities are still investigating with the ship crew to know the real reasons of entering Yemeni waters illegally. |
