Yemeni News Agent killed in England

A Yemeni news agent was killed in his own shop in Croxteth, UK. The victim, Abdul Saeed, was found bleeding heavily behind the counter in his shop at around 7:30 am on Saturday. Abdul Saeed was in his late 40’s- early 50’s and has one teenage son with him in England while the rest of his family live in Yemen.

Tourism Field to Reserve Help from ATO

Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) showed its willingness to help the Yemeni government to improve the tourism section. During the meetings of Arab Tourism Ministers Council, to be held on July 15 in Jordan, the organization would discuss with the Minister of Tourism a combined plan for building up cooperation to support tourism in Yemen. ATO is assigning all its abilities to help Arab countries, and Yemen has priority in many issues.

Yemen & Russia think of twining Aden with San Petersburg

Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani, the Yemeni Head of the Shoura Council, has held talks with Valentina Matvienko, governor of San Petersburg, which focused on the possibility of twining Aden with San Petersburg. The two sides also talked about ways to set up links between Yemeni ports and their Russian counterpart. The twining of Aden with San Petersburg was proposed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh during his last visit to Russia.
