ESCWA to help Yemen to be include to GCC

ESCWA, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, is willing to provide training to help Yemen's membership to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). ESCWA would support in joint partnership projects between Yemen and the GCC, which is consisted of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Ali Al-Dafa, ), the Executive Secretary of  ESCWA pointed to the importance of the 25th ministerial session of the Commission in Sana'a which is also scheduled to be attended by the GCC countries and to be held today and continues for three more days.

SNACC National Survey's results in a workshop

Yesterday, The Supreme National Authority for Competing Corruption, SNACC, organized a workshop to discuss the initial results of the first National Survey for Corruption Cases in Yemen carried out in collaboration with World Bank. Many experts and authorities participated in the workshop representing the Central Organization for Controlling and Audit (COCA), Anti-Money Laundering Unit at the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY), Supreme Tender Committee, ministries of justice, interior, planning and Sana'a University.
