Electric Investment Funding on a Workshop

Today in Sana’a starts the workshop for discussing horizons of investment funding for constructing electric generating stations by gas in Yemen. The workshop would be participated by a number of specialists, concerned authorities and representatives of local, Arab and foreign companies who showed willingness to invest in the field of electricity and energy and would continue for two days. The participants would discuss law and contract documents for constructing electric generating stations by gas. 

Yemen Nominates for (OIC) Assistant Secretary General Post

Senior Officials of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) agreed on the nomination of Yemen and Jordan for the post OIC Assistant Secretary General. The nomination of Yemen or Jordan would be accepted in the conference of the Islamic States Foreign Ministers to be held in Kampala next June.

Turkey to Build a Technical Institute in Yemen

Yemen discussed with Turkish delegation functioning technical institutes in one position of Sawan, Qahzan or Arhab. The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training would offer the institute the land it would be build on and the Turkish support covers building expenses of the institute that reaches $ 1 million. The Yemeni side was asked to prepare a complete file covering profit study to one of the chosen places.
