Foiling a Third Attempt of Smuggling Antiques by French, Working for a Petroleum Company

The security authorities at Sana’a International Airport captured a French man trying to smuggle a number of rare bronze statues and ancient antique coins. The prosecution of Antique Protection decided to keep the French man Ives Albert, 58 year-old, seven days in custody for investigation. The suspected man is working for a petroleum company and was coming from Belhaf area of Shabwa province on a private jet belongs to the company.  

Another Diesel Tanker Arrives to Yemen

To cover the shortage of diesel, a Singaporean oil tanker coming from the UAE arrived in Aden port. Sources told YEMEN POST the tanker is carrying 80,000 metric tons of diesel substance and to be distributed to fuel stations across the country under the supervision of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals. Last week also, an oil tanker came from KSA and loaded about 55,000 metric tones of diesel in the port.

Electronic Network Links Courts in Different Governorates

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar in company with the Minister of Justice launched the first stage of the electronic network project of linking seven governorates to Sana’a. The network would ease works of the judicial inspection in following up cases in the included governorates and improve the performance of the courts and preserve documents of the judiciary. The governorates linked to the capital are Aden, Taiz, Hadramout, Hodeidah, Al Jawf.
