The total number of weapon shops that were closed by the Ministry of Interior after it announced  that it will close all weapon shops in the country. Along with the closure of the shops, 141 weapon businessmen were also taken into custody after they refused to close their shops. The government plans to buy the weapons from the citizens in order to reimburse them for the costs.

Amount that local council members and tribe leaders in Rada’a have agreed to have fathers who marry their daughters for high prices pay as a fine for the high marriage price. Tribal leaders are trying to make marriage easier especially after young men stopped getting married due to the weak economic situation in Yemen along with the high marriage costs.

The number of new governmental universities that the government has ordered to open in the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, Dhal’e, Hajjah and Al-Baitha. This comes as the government is desperately trying to improve the educational situation in country and giving rural citizens a chance to study near thier homes and villages.

Number of foreigners from different nationalities who have been deported from Yemen since 2005 by the government on suspicion of being linked to Al-Qaeda according to Vice President Abdo Rabbu Mansoor Hadi.

Total number of citizens killed when a vehicle fell off the mountainous road of Jabal Haram, Hajja. Along with the dead were six citizens who survived the accident as they managed to get out of the vehicle before it would fall hundreds of meters down to the ground.
