10 Million MP Ba’adani demands the government to reveal how the 10 million sacks of wheat it received was distributed among the people. The wheat was given as a gift from the Emirates to help ease the bad economic situation of people in Yemen, especially after the price increase of food commodities.
22 The number of Saudi religious scholars who warned about what they called “The Houthi Agenda in Sa’ada”. In their report, the scholars mentioned that the Houthi expansion has benefited parties outside Yemen without mentioning the parties they suspect of supporting them.
3 Number of people killed in Al-Baitha Governorate in front of a governmental institution. Three other people were injured in the incident that is believed to have revenge backgrounds between two tribes. Two of the injured are still hospitalized and are in serious condition.
40 The total number of governmental employees in Amran who saw a decrease in their monthly salary who protested in front of the governor's office demanding him to reimburse their cut salaries. The protesters also closed the governor's office and refused to open its doors until they receive justice and have their salaries paid in full.
35,000 Number of university graduates this year who will compete with each other for the 570 available job opportunities in the governmental labor sector. A number of graduates quoted to the Yemen Post that those graduates who pay the highest bribes will get the jobs available.
10 Number of vehicles that were burnt at the Ahwal showroom in Hodieda. The cause for the fire is still unknown as investigations continue. No citizens were injured or hurt in the incident.
