The total number of cases in the same town in Hodieda were suicide attempts occurred. This is the second case in Shinkafi neighborhood of Hodieda in two months. Hodieda has one of the highest suicide rates in  Yemen, and most of the cases are related to poverty and the bad economic situation in the governorate.

When the help arrived by the Red Crescent, tribes from Hoth, Amran, attacked the trucks that were full of food stuff and escaped. According to the Red Crescent, the amount that was taken mounted to over YR 6 million out of a total YR 15.8 Million in support money.
