At least 19 civilians were killed and many others injured in escalated airstrikes in Yemen's capital city of Sanaa and Saada province on the border with Saudi Arabia in the past 24 hours, the Saba news agency reported on Friday.
The Saudi-led coalition has carried out fresh air raids in the capital Sanaa in the past 24 hours the heaviest ever since it intervened militarily in the country in March 2014.
Some airstrikes destroyed the Kabous Tea Plant, Shihab Tissues Factory and other businesses in Sanaa.
Days ago, the UN accused the coalition and other parties to the conflict in Yemen of indiscriminate attacks killing civilians and destroying infrastructures in obvious violation of international laws.
More than 8,000 people have been killed and around 13.000 others injured in the conflict.
The Friday's strikes coincided with ongoing battles between the pro-government and Houthi forces in several provinces including Taiz.
Separately, Saba said the displaced families in the province of Amran in the far north has increased to 34.300.
The ten-month conflict has displaced more than 2 million across Yemen and has left the country to face the worst humanitarian catastrophe in its modern history.
Around 82% of total population, 21 million, need basic humanitarian aid, 19 million lack access to safe water and sanitation and 14 lack access to healthcare services, according to the UN.
