Yemen's President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi reshuffled the cabinet naming new ministers of foreign affairs, civil service, interior and transportation.
He also named chief for the political security apparatus and former foreign ministers as ambassadors.
Hadi and the cabinet led by Vice President and Premier Khalid Bahah resumed their duties from the southern port city of Aden in September after a six-month exile in Saudi Arabia.
Officials said today the government is currently relocating public offices from the capital Sanaa into Aden.
Aden is the temporary capital as the capital Sanaa is still under control of the Houthi militants.
The reshuffle came amid raging battles between the pro-government and Houthi forces in the provinces of Taiz, Dhali, Baidha, Jawf and Ibb.
In Taiz, sources within the popular resistance said the Houthi militants fired mortars on populated areas killing around 6 civilians including three children. Many others were injured in the shelling, they said.
Fighters from both sides were killed and injured in the battles and airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition in Taiz, they added.
The coalition has been bombing the Houthi forces and weapons depots since March.
Today, it resumed airstrikes against military sites in the capital Sanaa including the camps and weapons within the presidential palace in the district of Al-Nahdain.
Last night, heavy airstrikes targeted these sites and others in southwest Sanaa.
Moreover, it resumed airstrikes in other provinces including Dhali and Baidha.
