The Houthi Group released three US citizens on Thursday who were arrested after it had ousted the government and seized power in Yemen in late 2014, a well-informed source told the Yemen Post.
The freed US included two contractors who were accused of espionage, the source said, adding that they were handed over to Oman.
The source did not give more details.
In recent months, the group, also known as Ansarullah, released several foreigners including US and handed them to Oman.
Oman is the only GCC member state not participating in the Saudi-led bombing campaign against the Houthis.
It has been been playing the role of mediator since the Houthis seized power especially in talks between the militants and the government.
