At least 8 civilians including women were killed in airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen's provinces of Saada and Sanaa, Houthi media reported on Sunday.
Moreover, 6 civilians were injured in heavy airstrikes in downtown the capital Sanaa, the reports said, pointing out that the coalition conducted raids in the cities of Taiz, Baidha and Ibb as well.
The coalition has been bombing the Houthi militants who ousted the government since March.
It has been accused of war crimes as the UN says most of the thousands of civilian fatalities in the conflict were killed by airstrikes.
On the other hand, Houthi media said the Houthi missile force destroyed a warship of the coalition off the port of Makha today.
Lately, Houthis said their forces had destroyed two warships of those pounding them from the Bab Al-Mandab Strait.
The coalition has not confirmed the incidents.
Thousands of troops from the coalition were deployed into Yemen to support the national forces during the battles against the Houthi militants in some cities.
The troops are also helping the Yemeni forces to restore security in the southern port city of Aden where the government is staying.
On Saturday, gunmen believed to be from the pro-government resistance raided the Al-Mansoura Prison in Aden kidnapping its director and two of his aides, local sources said.
The motives for the raid are still unknown, they added.
