Dozens of civilians were killed and injured in a reportedly misdirected airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition in northern Yemen on Sunday.
Local security sources said the coalition struck a mineral water factory in the district of Abs in Hajjah province killing at least 35 workers and injuring tens of others.
Most bodies were completely burned as the attack destroyed the factory, they added.
Recently, the coalition launched a fresh wave of air raids against the Houthi militants in several cities including those on the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, rights organizations have accused the coalition of using banned munitions such as cluster bombs that exposed lives of a lot of civilians to dangers in some cities primarily Saada, the stronghold of the militants.
Moreover, organizations have accused the warring parties including the coalition of indiscriminate attacks killing civilians, many children, while urging to form a commission to investigate possible war crimes in the country.
The coalition has been striking the Houthis and forces loyal to ex-president since March.
In the past few days, it escalated raids in the capital Sanaa following a scud attack against a Saudi border town and in other cities including Marib where battles between the anti- and pro-Houthi forces have lately intensified.
More military reinforcements including tens of tanks and armored vehicles as well as munitions arrived in Marib today, well-informed sources said.
The reinforcements come within a new operation backed by the coalition to retake the capital Sanaa from the militants.
