At least 11 civilians were killed and dozens injured in Saudi-led airstrikes on the Mafraq Al-Thakarah district in Yemen's southern city of Taiz, the Saba news agency reported on Wednesday.
Shops, houses, cars and other properties were destroyed some completely and others partially by the airstrikes, it added.
In the past 24 hours, the Saudi-led coalition carried out heavy airstrikes against military bases, positions and weapon depots controlled by the Houthi militants in several Yemeni cities including the capital Sanaa, the agency reported.
Hundreds of civilians including children have been killed and injured and many public and private properties affected by bombings that have been continuing since March.
In recent days, bombings destroyed key civilian facilities including the Amran cement factory.
The factory used to be one of the most important public business in the country.
The fresh raids coincided with ongoing battles between the pro-government and pro-Houthi forces in Aden, Taiz, Baidha, Dhali, Lahj, Marib and other cities.
In Taiz, locals said the pro-government forces repelled Houthi attacks in downtown the city and destroyed a tank on the Sabir Mountain which the Houthis lately used to shell residences.
In Baidha, sources from the popular resistance said around 15 Houthis were killed and several others injured in an ambush against their convoy in the Sheriah district.
