Orphans & Child Welfare Program is implementing Special Skills project in Sana’a and Aden governorates and will cover 25 cases in each city to support Islamic Relief Yemen sponsored orphans who are over the age of 14 years to become self reliant after their sponsorship ends at age 18 and be equipped with skills for supporting their families and themselves.
The first two phases of the project has been implemented which were special awareness sessions on different issues that impact the youth and Special workshop which discussed future plans.
Now IRY is implementing the third and last phase of the project, in which orphans will be registered in vocational institutes to develop their skills to earn a living in future.
