A senior Yemeni official said on Sunday that the presence of US marines is temporary, indicating that US marines backs date were allowed to come to Yemen by the former regime of Ali Abdullah Saleh.

He affirmed that the US marines will leave Yemen immidiately as the Yemeni government could control on security situations.

According to the official, the tasks of marines are to secure US diplomats operating in Yemen, affirming that the division among the security and military army resulted in the attack on the embassy and incited protesters to storm the embassy.

He emphasized that the government take into account the dmands of parliament that asked to depart marines troops , indicating that both attitudes of the government and parliament are identical toward rejection of US presence.

He said that the authorities faced difficult choices including the closure of the embassy , singling out that such step would have led to the shutdown of other foreign embassies.

Yemeni media outlets spoke about the arrival of 200 armored vehicles of the marines, but government sources denied that, saying that about 20 armored cars were brought for the embassy's staff instead of those which were ruined.

Meanwhile, Yemeni radicial groups such as al-Qaeda and the Houthi group exploited the US-made anit-Islam film to incite against the United States.

Al-Qaida's branch in Yemen has praised the killing of the U.S. ambassador in Libya and called for more attacks to expel American embassies from Muslim nations.

The Houthi group increased print of its slogan in the streets of the capital Sana'a, citing that the United States is behind all the problems of Yemen and Muslims.
