Mayor of the capital Sana'a Abdul-Kadir Hilal has ordered to remove slogans of the Houthi group that has largely printed its slogans in walls of Sana'a's streets, well-informed sources said.
The Houthi group increased print of its slogan after the attacking the US Embassy in Sana'a in which several protesters were killed and wounded, and contents of the embassy were ruined and looted.
Yemeni media outlets had cited the Houthi group in collaboration with supporters of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh incited people to attack the embassy.
A report issued by a Yemen think-tank, Abaad Study and Research Centre, said that slogans raised by the Houthi group led to the storm of the US Embassy in Sana'a, pointing out that the US ambassador previously underestimated their slogans.
The main slogan of the Houthi group is "God is Great, Death to America, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews."
Yemeni political parties accuses Iran with supporting the Saada-based Houthi group with the aim of inflaming problems and carrying out the agendas of Iran in the regions.
The US Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein had frequently cautioned against Iranian intervention in Yemen, indicating that Iran seeks to spark troubles in Yemen through supporting the Saada-based Houthi group.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakar Al-Qirbi has accused Iran of interfering in Yemen’s affairs, stressing that any Iranian cooperation with Yemeni political sides is unacceptable.
“We along with all regional states are keen to have relations with Iran, but we refuse any intervention in internal affairs” he said.
