President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi said in his meeting with the Executive Committee for the National Council of the Revolution's Forces that he can't run the state's affairs from the Presidential Palace and that his house in the sixty meters street is still subject to continuous firing attacks.

Hadi still lives and carries out his duties from his own house although he is entitled to move in to the Presidential Palace. He only holds some meetings in the Presidential Palace.

On Sunday, Hadi met with members from the Executive Committee of the Revolution's Forces headed by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwah to discuss a range of issues.

Hadi, according to the unnamed member in the executive committee who attended the meeting, further called on all sides to unify efforts in order to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people.

Hadi reportedly does not feel safe in the Presidential Palace because the Republican Guard forces—the best equipped and trained military forces in Yemen which is run by Saleh's elder son, Ahmed-- are stationed in the area surrounding the palace.

The Palace is empty after former President Saleh has evacuated it following his successor (Hadi) was officially elected as President of the Republic of Yemen.
