Riot police dispersed on Sunday hundreds of Somali refugees who gathered at the headquarters of the UNHCR in Sana'a to protest their deteriorating conditions due to the month-long unrest.
Eyewitnesses said the police used teargas and live bullets to break the rally and that some Africans were injured and taken to hospital.
Many African refugees, mostly Somalis and Ethiopians, continue to arrive in Yemen fleeing deteriorating situations in their horn of Africa countries.
So far this, more than 40000 people arrived at Yemen shores and hundreds drowned in tragic incidents off the country.
