President Ali Abdullah Saleh will ask Parliament during its current session to adopt previously approved constitutional amendments, the mouthpiece of the ruling party Almotamar website reported on Monday.
The move comes according to the law on condition that the appeal must contain justifications for such amendments calling for the development of the political system and establishing a broad municipal governance through Yemen's Legislative Houses, Parliament and Shoura Council.
Tow months ago, Parliament voted on the amendments, approving them in principle and deciding a debate on them after two months.
