Dubai, 20 October 2009: Jumeirah, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, operator of Jumeirah Essex House in New York and a member of Dubai Holding, won several accolades from readers of the American edition of Condé Nast, the prestigious travel magazine. The awards were handed to Guy Crawford, Chief Executive Officer for Jumeirah Group, by Klara Glowczewska, Condé Nast Traveler Editor-in-Chief, during at a ceremony held on October 15 in New York.

Burj Al Arab was named ‘Best Middle Eastern Resort’ for the third consecutive year. Madinat Jumeirah – The Arabian Resort, also managed by Jumeirah, came in second position in this category.
For the first time ever, Jumeirah Beach Hotel was voted ‘Best Middle Eastern Hotel’.
More than 25,000 Condé Nast readers chose the hotels from over 10,000 properties and destinations worldwide.
