The international committee of the Red Cross said on Tuesday that two of its staff were kidnapped in Yemen's capital city of Sanaa.
The two were kidnapped while on their way to the office in Sanaa early Tuesday.
One of them was released unharmed hours after the incident and the other, a Tunisian women, is still abducted, the committee said in a statement.
We don't know those responsible for the kidnapping but we appeal to them to release our colleague soon, it said.
The Houthi militants have been controlling the capital Sanaa since they ousted the government in late 2014.
In September, two Red Cross Yemeni workers were killed in Amran after a mission in the far north.
Prior to the killings, the Red Cross suspended its operations temporarily in Aden after gunmen had stormed its office and threatened the staff.
Aid organizations are facing huge challenges amid the ongoing conflict which has deepened the humanitarian suffering in Yemen.
Lately, several aid organizations reported attacks on their staffs mostly in conflict areas.
