Scores more civilians were killed and injured in Saudi-led airstrikes in several Yemeni cities including Saada, Ibb, Marib and the capital Sanaa on Sunday.
Security sources said more than 18 people including prisoners and passersby were killed in airstrikes on the security office in the province of Ibb.
More than 50 others were injured in the airstrikes.
In the province of Saada the birthplace of the Houthi militants, local security sources said more than 40 civilians were killed and many others injured in intensified air raids in several districts including Manbah.
Since the Saudi-led coalition launched the bombing campaign against the militants in late March, Saada has taken the largest and heaviest airstrikes in which hundreds of people were killed and injured. Hundreds of thousands of others have been displaced.
And in the capital Sanaa, medical sources said some if those who were injured in the last night's raids died from injuries.
Airstrikes were also reported in the provinces of Marib, Baidha, Taiz and Amran but there were no details.
In recent weeks, the coalition escalated its raids and sent thousands of troops and large heavy equipment within an offensive to drive the militants from the provinces of Marib and Jawf and then the capital Sanaa.
On the other hand, the battles between the government forces in Taiz and Marib resumed today.
According to Houthi sources, the militants fired two Tochka missiles on the main camp of the government and coalition forces destroying one apache helicopter.
In Taiz, battles spread to more areas as the Houthis continued to shell populated areas killing and injuring civilians as well as destroying properties, locals said.
