At least 18 civilians were killed in Yemen's province of Marib where battles between the pro-government forces and the Houthi militants have lately escalated.
Local sources said on Friday 15 civilians including women were killed after Houthi militants fired rockets on the government compound, the central market and houses randomly and hysterically.
Tens if others were injured some seriously, the sources said.
And the Saba news agency reported that the 3 others were killed in an airstrike by the Saudi-led alliance.
The alliance has sent thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks, armored cars and other equipment in support of the government forces in Marib.
The Arab reinforcements have already joined the battle to retake Marib from the Houthis amid reports preparations have got underway to drive the militants out of the adjacent province of Jawf.
The alliance has been bombing the Houthi militants and forces loyal to the former president since March.
In recent days, it has intensified its air raids in the capital Sanaa and other cities killing and injuring dozens of civilians.
On Thursday, Sanaa was terribly shaken by heavy air raids and explosions of weapons after raids targeted weapon depots.
