One guard was killed and two others injured after a bomb exploded at the Saba agency in Yemen's capital city of Sanaa on Wednesday night. No one from the staff was hurt.
Saba has been controlled by the Houthi militants who ousted the transition government in September.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The government-which has been staying in Saudi Arabia for months-has released its own version of the official agency Saba.
Several car bombings targeted mosques and headquarters of Houthi militants in Sanaa this past week.
Scores were killed and injured in the blasts.
All attacks coincided with ongoing confrontations between the pro-government forces and the Houthi militants as well as a three-month Saudi-led bombing campaign against the Houthi militants.
