Civilians were killed in Saudi-led airstrikes against a position of the Houthi militants in Yemen's province of Saada, Houthi media reported on Wednesday.
More than a dozen militants were killed in the raids in the Sakain district, well-informed sources said.
The Arab coalition conducted airstrikes against the Houthis in Shabwa, Aden, Marib, Sanaa, Hajjah and other cities.
Saudi Arabia has been leading the Arab military operation against the Houthis since March.
Many civilians have been killed and injured in misdirected airstrikes and explosions of weapons targeted by airstrikes.
Today, confrontations between the Houthi militants and pro-government forces continued in Abyan, Shabwa, Marib, Taiz and Baidha.
Locals in Abyan said fierce clashes are continuing in the Akad mountainous area. Many have been killed from both sides, they added.
In Shabwa, confrontations broke out after the popular resistance tried to take over the 19th military brigade which is controlled by the forces loyal to the former president and the Houthis, reports said.
Separately, locals in Taiz said the Houthi militants have been shelling populated areas as the popular resistance repelled attacks and fought Houthis in several areas.
The sources did not give statistics of civilians killed and injured from the shelling.
