The toll from the Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen's capital city of Sanaa rose to more than 288 on Wednesday, the Houthi-run Saba agency reported.
Most of the casualties were Houthi militants and they were killed and injured in the airstrikes against the special forces headquarters, military intelligence and presidential brigades in the Alsabeen district as well as military camps and weapon depots in other areas including the Hasaba district.
Reliable sources told the Yemen Post that more than 100 Houthi forces were killed in the airstrike on the special forces camp alone.
Saba quoted a security source as saying that there were civilians among the casualties.
Today, the Arab coalition conducted the deadliest airstrikes against military camps and weapon depots controlled by the Houthis and the former president as well as residences of leaders from the Houthi group and the General People's Congress in several cities.
Tens of Houthis were killed in airstrikes in Hajjah, Hodeida and Taiz as well, sources said.
The raids came within the third stage of the Saudi-led Arab military operation which was launched on March 26.
They coincided with persistent ground fighting between pro-government and pro-Houthi forces in Taiz, Aden, Marib and Dhale.
The pro-government forces made progress on all frontlines with tens of Houthis killed, injured and arrested, according to sources in the cities.
In Ibb, a military leadership council was formed by the pro-government resistance at a time when the anti-Houthi resistance is expanding.
