The Arab coalition carried out airstrikes against military camps and weapon depots controlled by the Houthi militants in the capital city of Sanaa on Tuesday.
The heaviest airstrikes since the Saudi-led military operation was launched against the Houthis on March 26 targeted weapons on the mountains of Noqom and Aiban.
There were no immediate reports about casualties from the raids on Noqom and Aiban which have been targeted for weeks. In recent airstrikes on weapon depots on the two mountains, scores of civilians were killed, hundreds wounded and properties damaged after missiles exploded at nearby populated areas.
Fighter jets from the coalition also targeted residences of former president in Sanaa as well as Houthi convoys, camps and weapons in other cities including Ibb, Hodeida and Aden.
The fresh airstrikes coincided with the conclusion of a three-day Riyadh conference on Yemen which was boycotted by the Houthi militant group.
They came as the Houthis were continuing violence and expansion in southern cities.
In recent days, the Houthis deployed military reinforcements and weapons including rocket launchers into southern cities.
In Taiz, fierce clashes broke out between the Houthis and pro-government fighters.
