Foreign minister Riyadh Yaseen revealed on Monday that GCC countries are preparing a big aid package to rebuild Yemen.
There are preparations to announce a program to boost development in Yemen which will be sponsored by Saudi king Salman Bin Abdulaziz, he said, adding other GCC countries have expressed readiness to back the country as well.
GCC countries led an Arab military operation againest the Houthi militants and pro-Saleh forces.
Fighter jets from the Arab coalition have been striking the militants and dissident forces for more than three weeks.
At a press conference in Kuwait, Yaseen held the Houthi militants and dissident forces loyal to ex-president responsible for damaging infrastructures in Yemeni cities.
Moreover, he affirmed that the Yemeni government has rejected an Iranian bid to end the Arab military operation and solve the crisis peacefully.
He told reporters the Iranian initiative was too late and that it was rejected because Iran is not a neutral party.
Iran is deeply involved in backing the Houthi militants and any effort to save Iran's proxies must be turned down, he said.
Yaseen said Saleh and the Houthi militants will not part of Yemen's future.
In this context, reports said today that the Arab coalition plans to help Yemen to dissolve the General People's Congress of former president and ban the Houthi militant group.
