Dear Aunt Noor, I am a mother of four kids. My kids ages’ are between (3-15) and I work full time. During my absence, the foreign maid takes care of the kids. My problem is with my husband. He always complains that work is taking me from my family and I should give for the family more time and effort. My question is: Am I a human who has goals and have the right to accomplish them in life like my husband? Huwida Dear Huwida, Of course my dear, you have the right to accomplish your goals in life and also taking a good rest after a hard working day. Conversely, your kids have the right to see their mom next to them and let them feel her love and sympathy. Being a mom and raising kids should be the main goal for any mother. Therefore, you need to balance between your family and work to guarantee success in all your life aspects. I would advise you to pay more concern towards your family and before that, you have to feel that raising your kids is your first priority. After that comes all your other goals in life. In addition, you might need to change your full time job to part time in order to reduce the pressure in your life and to have more time to spend with your children. Try to be close to them and hear from them. Understand their problems and correct their way of thinking when needed. Wish you all the best Aunt Noor, I’m Malaysian girl living in Yemen and my boyfriend is Saudi. We planned to get married but we are still waiting for his country to give the approval letter. He already came to visit my parents and they agreed with our decision. We have been waiting for almost one year so he decided to get the Yemeni nationality and take the approval from there in order to marry me in Malaysia. Well, do you think it is possible or is it still difficult to marry Saudis? And if it is possible, how long will it take to get the approval letter from Yemeni ministry? Thank you, Dear Mrs., I am sorry. I wish I could help you but your question is outside this column concerns. To ask Aunt Noor for her Advice , email her at noor@yemenpost.net
