Last year on November 3rd, the Yemen Post published its first issue, bringing a new face to the Yemeni press. Throughout the ups and downs during the year, nothing other than marvelous could be said to what the Post accomplished.

Today, and only one year later, the readership for the Yemen Post can be compared with any competitor in the English press in Yemen if not better.

Own strong will to reach every possible reader made us think of a unique campaign which we called the "Top 1000". During the campaign which started in Yemen Posts first issue, the newspaper was distributed to 1000 destinations free of charge including universities, organizations, NGO's, embassies, governmental buildings, businesses, companies, and intellectuals. This campaign targeted every possible English reader in order to spread awareness among the society.

Being the only Yemeni  newspaper that links the east with the west through its two existing branches in the United States, the Post has received strong Yemeni readership around the world, not to forget its branch in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia, where the majority of Yemenis in the gulf reside.

What I mentioned was for last year, and we promise our readers unexpected accomplishments in the next few months, in order to raise the standards of English journalism in Yemen.
