7 Year Old Child Killed and Two locals Injured in Mosque Gun Attack in Al-Dalie Governorate

A seven year old child was killed and two citizens injured after a gunman opened fire on locals attending prayer inside a Mosque in Al-Dalie governorate Nawa village.

Security officials in Nawa said that they managed to arrest the attacker and immediate investigations were conducted to know the actual reasons behind the attack.

According to sources, initial investigations revealed that the attacker, who is eighteen years old, was suffering from mental illness, and that the attack was not connected to terrorism.

The sources said that security forces captured the attacker in his home, adding that the two men who were injured are now hospitalized.
