| 20,000 Yemenis to Perform Omrah during Ramadhan | |

Minister of Endowments and Guidance Hamoud Al-Hitar revealed that 20,000 Yemenis will perform Omrah this year, hinting that the private sector is delegated to prepare everything for the Omrah performers while his ministry will just supervise and control the whole process. Al-Hitar further mentioned that they attentively selected 80 agencies from a long list of agencies that submitted forms for voyaging the Omrah performers. Private sectors is making more money now especially when the fees were raised to SR 1,800 for each head intending to perform Omrah though it did not exceed SR 500. Too many Omrah performers prefer not to return back home and they infiltrate into other Saudi cities searching for jobs and money; however, such decisions pushed the Saudi authorities to impose strict measures on those intending to do Omrah and further granted visas just to those who are over 40 years old.
